Bibles for Missions (BfM Foundation) Thrift Stores are second-hand stores across Canada run completely by volunteers. All profits are directed to The Bible League of Canada to help send Bibles around the world. Each store provides quality, used merchandise at very reasonable prices.
There are 33 stores that operate across Canada and the number keeps growing. The common goal of helping to send Bibles around the world binds staff together and helps keep the doors open. To maximize giving, the volunteers' incredible gift of time helps the stores run smoothly. Having these volunteers sets apart Bibles for Missions Thrift Stores from other thrift stores.
Some of the many benefits of the BfM stores are:
- Providing service to local community needs
- Re-use and recycling of clothing and books
- Bargains that can stretch a family budget
- Providing Bibles around the world
- Fellowship for shoppers and volunteers
