Hundreds of millions of children around the globe attend substandard schools where the quality of education is poor. In many places there are no schools. Most parents long for their children to be well educated since they recognize the economic stature and value of a literate person. Through glimpses of the western world that they see, parents know the vast opportunities available for educated individuals.

Identifying this abundant need, enterprising church planters go into small villages, gain the permission of community leaders, and offer to teach children basic skills. As they introduce the children to learning through the children's ministry resources provided by the Bible League of Canada, learning takes a strategic direction by teaching them those children's ministry lessons which are the foundation of a Christian worldview. The children are introduced to the person of Jesus Christ. They are told of His great love and promises for them and His calling in their lives. Over 40% of these children become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ!
