The Persecuted Church
Do you ever wonder why Christians are persecuted?
There are generally three main reasons why Christians are persecuted: the power of the Gospel threatens governments who control their people through their beliefs; Christianity is seen as a threat to the cultural heritage of a country; and Christianity is seen as a false or competitive religion.
Christians worldwide are severely punished for breaking religious laws or religious tradition. They ask us to pray that they will have strength to endure--and they ask us to send Bibles.
